What is better than one sword? Two swords! Swing twice as much, cut twice as often!


Dual Wield covers the art of fighting with a weapon in each hand. While less capable of delivering crowd control as the other skills can, this ability tree compensates with more attacks per round and more abilities centered around single-target damage.

At skill level 50 - Dual Wield (50) - you gain an additional attack on your main hand. At Dual Wield (25) and Dual Wield (75), you gain an additional attack on your off-hand to match your main hand.

Twf-whirlwind1
Two-Weapon Whirlwind

Strike at everything around you with your weapons. You can further specialize to make a rending attack when striking with both weapons, or unleash the fury of bullets around you as you spin.

As a full-round action you make a single attack at +10% damage against every enemy within melee range, alternating between both of your weapons.

As a full-round action you make a single attack at +20% damage against every enemy within melee range, alternating between both of your weapons.

As a full-round action you make a single attack at +30% damage against every enemy within melee range, alternating between both of your weapons.

As a full-round action you make a single attack at +40% damage against every enemy within melee range, alternating between both of your weapons.


Mounting Whirlwind (V)

As a full-round action you make a single attack at +50% damage against every enemy within melee range, alternating between both of your weapons. Each target you hit gives you an additional +5% damage against further targets.


Death Blossom (V)

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (85), Deadly Whirlwind (IV)

Stamina Cost: 40

As a full-round action you make a single attack against every enemy within melee range, alternating between both of your weapons. You also fire any ammunition held in hybrid weapons at random hostile creatures.


Twinned Whirlwind


Twinned Whirlwind (III)

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (45), Two-Weapon Whirlwind (II)

As a full-round action you attack at every enemy within melee range with each of your weapons. Hitting with both weapons causes you to make a rending attack dealing 20% of the combined damage of both weapons.


Twinned Whirlwind (IV)

Required For: Extended Whirlwind (V), Rending Whirlwind (V)

As a full-round action you attack at every enemy within melee range with each of your weapons. Hitting with both weapons causes you to make a rending attack dealing 35% of the combined damage of both weapons.


Extended Whirlwind (V)

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (85), Twinned Whirlwind (IV)

Stamina Cost: 35

As a full-round action you attack at every enemy within twice your melee range with each of your weapons. Hitting with both weapons causes you to make a rending attack dealing 35% of the combined damage of both weapons.


Rending Whirlwind (V)

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (85), Twinned Whirlwind (IV)

Stamina Cost: 40

As a full-round action you attack at every enemy within melee range with each of your weapons. Hitting with both weapons causes you to make a rending attack dealing 45% of the combined damage of both weapons.

Twin Strikes

This ability allows you to deal a single attack that does the damage of both your weapons - useful for defeating armoured targets. The alternate paths allow you to either make more attacks against your target, or fewer but more damaging attacks.

As a full-round action you make four attacks against your current target. If both attacks in any pair hit, you make an attack at the same attack bonus that deals 25% of the combined damage of both weapons.


Rending Strikes (IV)

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (60), Rending Strikes (III)

Required For: Tearing Strikes (V), Wounding Strikes (V)

As a full-round action you make four attacks against your current target. If both attacks in any pair hit, you make an attack at the same attack bonus that deals 50% of the combined damage of both weapons.

Stamina Cost: 45

As a full-round action you make four attacks against your current target. If both attacks in any pair hit, you make an attack at the same attack bonus that deals 75% of the combined damage of both weapons.


Wounding Strikes (V)

Stamina Cost: 50

As a full-round action you make four attacks against your current target. If both attacks in any pair hit, the target takes wounding damage equal to 30% of the combined damage of both weapons.

As a full-round action you make two attacks that deal the damage of both your weapons on a successful hit.

Dual Charge

See a juicy target a good distance away? Charge to them and give them a shanking. Branch to either inflict bleeding damage on your final target, or gain an attack of opportunity at every target you pass by while charging.

As a full-round action you charge an enemy at least 10 feet away with a 75% speed increase. If you reach the target within one round you make one attack with each of your weapons at +2 to attack and damage. If both attacks hit you inflict 5 points of bleeding damage.


Rending Charge (V)

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (95), Cutting Charge (IV)

Stamina Cost: 40

As a full-round action you charge an enemy at least 10 feet away with a 75% speed increase. If you reach the target within one round you make one attack with each of your weapons at +2 to attack and damage. If both attacks hit you inflict 5 points of bleeding damage and make an automatic rending attack, dealing 50% of the combined damage of both your weapons.


Pouncing Charge (V)

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (95), Cutting Charge (IV)

Stamina Cost: 50

As a full-round action you charge an enemy at least 10 feet away with a 75% speed increase. If you reach the target within one round you make two attacks with each of your weapons. If all four attacks hit you inflict 10 points of bleeding damage.

While charging you make a single melee attack at every target you pass, alternating between weapons. You also have a +2 bonus to Dodge while charging.

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (95), Whirling Charge (IV)

Stamina Cost: 35

As a full-round action you charge an enemy at least 10 feet away with a 75% speed increase. If you reach the target within one round you make one attack with each of your weapons at +1 to attack and damage. While charging you make a single melee attack at every target you pass, alternating between weapons. You also have a +4 bonus to Dodge and tumble checks while charging.


Deadly Charge (V)

Prerequisites: Dual Wield (95), Whirling Charge (IV)

Stamina Cost: 40

As a full-round action you charge an enemy at least 10 feet away with a 75% speed increase. If you reach the target within one round you make one attack with each of your weapons at +1 to attack and damage. While charging you make a single melee attack at every target you pass, alternating between weapons. For each hit, your attacks against your end target gain +1 to attack and damage. You also have a +2 bonus to Dodge while charging.

Using two weapons while in Block mode increases your Armor by +2. All of your riposte attacks deal damage with both weapons.

This passive ability tree allows you to automatically make an extra "rending" attack when successfully striking a target with both of your weapons. Branch to either deal more damage, or change the damage dealt to wounding.
